Terms of Service
Last updated: May 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Outbound for Workflows (the "Service"), provided by Edge Traversal ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Outbound for Workflows is a Stripe App that contributes custom actions to Stripe Workflows. The Service runs your configured actions on Stripe platform events and sends data to the third-party services you've authorized (Discord, Notion, Linear, Telegram, Resend, your own Postgres, or any HTTPS endpoint).
2. Eligibility
You must have a Stripe account in good standing and be authorized to bind the entity that holds that account to these Terms. The Service is not intended for users under 18.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate third-party credentials when configuring the Service.
- Maintain your own access to those third-party services; we are not responsible if your Linear or Notion or Discord account changes underneath us.
- Comply with the terms of every third-party service you configure (Discord ToS, Notion API ToS, etc.).
- Not use the Service to send spam, harassment, or content that violates third-party policies.
- Not attempt to overwhelm, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the Service through automated means beyond normal API usage.
4. Pricing & billing
Plans and execution limits are described on the Pricing page. Billing happens monthly (or annually, if elected) through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; cancellations take effect immediately and you retain access through the end of the current billing period. Refunds for unused time on annual plans are not provided except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
Without limiting Section 3, you must not use the Service to:
- Violate any law or third-party right.
- Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam).
- Process payments unrelated to the Stripe events you've subscribed to.
- Write to databases or send requests to endpoints you do not own or have explicit authorization to access.
- Bypass rate limits or execution caps of your selected plan.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice for severe violations.
6. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third-party services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or pricing changes. If a third party changes their API in a breaking way, we will work to update the Service but cannot guarantee timing.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not provide a formal uptime SLA at this time. The Service depends on Stripe, Vercel, Neon, and the third-party APIs you configure — outages in any of those affect the Service.
8. Intellectual property
Edge Traversal retains all rights to the Service and its underlying software. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for the duration of your subscription. You retain all rights to the data you send through the Service.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EDGE TRAVERSAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Edge Traversal against claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any applicable law, or arising from the data you send through the Service.
12. Termination
You may terminate by uninstalling the Service from your Stripe account. We may terminate or suspend access immediately for material breach of these Terms. On termination, sections 8 through 14 survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced via email to the address on your Stripe account at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
